Description
GAA Hurling Balls, also known as sliotars, are premium-quality match and training balls designed for maximum durability, speed, visibility, and performance. Manufactured to official GAA specifications, these sliotars feature a high-visibility fluorescent yellow finish, precision stitching, and a durable leather or synthetic cover for consistent flight and excellent striking response. Suitable for competitive matches, club training, schools, and professional gameplay, GAA Hurling Balls deliver reliable performance in all weather conditions.
- The diameter of the sliotar, excluding the rim (rib), shall be between 69mm and 72mm.
- The mass of the sliotar shall be between 110 grams and 116 grams.
- The rim (rib) height shall be between 1.8mm and 2.6mm.
- The rim (rib) width shall be between 3.6mm and 5.4mm.
- The thickness of the leather (chrome or synthetic) cover shall be between 1.8mm and 2.7mm.
- The cover coating shall not exceed 0.15mm thickness.
- Colour: Fluorescent Yellow / High Visibility (Pantone Reference 388) with red stitching thread.
